Górnik Zabrze fans beaten in Istanbul — Podolski and club respond

Górnik Zabrze supporters were subjected to a violent intervention by Turkish security forces ahead of a Champions League qualifying match in Istanbul. Nine detained Polish fans sustained injuries during clashes at the stadium. Club legend Lukas Podolski was among those who stepped in to help the affected supporters.
