Winter hits Tatra Mountains in July — IMGW issues warnings

Poland's meteorological service IMGW has issued weather warnings for the Tatra Mountains following a sudden onset of winter-like conditions in July. Snow and sub-zero temperatures have hit the peaks despite it being midsummer. Tourists have been urged to exercise extreme caution.
