Morawiecki after Kaczyński's move: I fought for PiS unity to the end

Mateusz Morawiecki said he tried until the last moment to prevent a split in PiS, sending Jarosław Kaczyński a letter with new proposals that same morning. Earlier, Kaczyński announced that around 30 MPs had resigned from the party. Morawiecki said his camp was surprised by the turn of events.
