PiS split: Morawiecki claims 40 MPs left with him

PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński announced that over 30 MPs had resigned from the party. At a separately convened press conference, former prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki put the number higher, saying his breakaway group consists of 40 MPs, one senator and three MEPs. It marks the biggest split in PiS history.
