ZUS chief: Poland not ready for debate on raising retirement age

Liwiusz Laska, head of Poland's Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), told Rzeczpospolita that Poland is not ready for a debate on raising the retirement age. He stressed that ZUS's role is to show citizens the consequences of their retirement decisions, not to drive political debate. Laska said he wants to make clear to Poles exactly what their retirement choices mean for their future benefits.
