Polish listed banks post 9.2 bln PLN net profit in Q2 2026

Nine Polish listed banks recorded a combined net profit of 9.24 billion PLN in Q2 2026, roughly matching last year's result and up 15% from Q1. The quarter saw a decline in net interest income but higher fee and commission revenues, along with rising operating costs and a marked increase in loan-loss provisions. The data was compiled by PAP Biznes analysts.
