Kaczyński expels rebel MPs from PiS — Morawiecki leads group of 40

Jarosław Kaczyński has announced the expulsion of PiS MPs who refused to sign a declaration regarding associations, effectively splitting the party. Former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said his faction now numbers 40 MPs, one senator and three MEPs. Morawiecki said he fought for party unity until the last moment and accused "a group of schemers" of pushing him out.
