EU targets $120B Russian crypto network in 21st sanctions package

The EU has adopted its 21st sanctions package, targeting a $120 billion Russian cryptocurrency network. For the first time, the bloc is considering a ban on third-country crypto service providers operating in Europe. Fourteen crypto companies have been targeted, though their names have not yet been disclosed.
