Drunk Driver Who Caused A1 Motorway Crash Remanded for Three Months

A court in Częstochowa remanded 36-year-old Krzysztof K. in custody for three months after he drove drunk on the A1 motorway in mid-July and caused a collision, despite an existing driving ban. The case attracted the attention of Poland's prosecutor general and national prosecutor. Defence lawyer Żurek also intervened in the matter.
