Coppola's 1997 Odyssey TV series surges on streaming after Nolan's film success

Following the box-office success of Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey (budget $250 million, already grossing over $260 million worldwide), viewers are revisiting older Homer adaptations. A 1997 NBC two-part miniseries co-produced by Francis Ford Coppola on a reported $40 million budget is now topping streaming charts. The 2004 film Troy, a project Nolan once nearly directed, is also among the most popular titles on streaming.
