South Korea's Saean R&D patents quieter, faster jet propulsion for air taxis

South Korean company Saean R&D has been granted three patents for jet propulsion systems designed for flying taxi (eVTOL) aircraft. The technology is claimed to simultaneously increase flight speed and reduce noise levels, which remain one of the biggest obstacles to urban air mobility. The company argues the innovations could accelerate the commercialisation of air taxi services.
