Nine months into Gaza ceasefire, humanitarian conditions remain catastrophic

Nine months after a ceasefire took effect in Gaza, conditions on the ground remain dire, according to Shaina Low, Communications Adviser for the Norwegian Refugee Council's Palestine mission. Extensive restrictions on aid, construction materials, fuel and operational access prevent humanitarian organisations from moving beyond short-term relief. Low argues the core problem is no longer the scale of destruction but the inability to reverse it despite the ceasefire. She says conditions "should have improved by now."
