Urfer blasts PZPN after CAS ruling: 'You achieved your goal — Lechia relegated'

Lechia Gdańsk president Paolo Urfer has sharply criticised the Polish Football Association (PZPN) after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) ruled against the club. Urfer accused the PZPN of deliberately steering the situation to ensure Lechia's relegation while avoiding independent scrutiny of the five-point deduction's legality. Lechia has been relegated from the top flight.
