India Orders Takedown of Jack Dorsey's Bitcoin Messaging App Bitchat

The order comes as "Cockroach Janta Party" protesters in Delhi have been using mesh tools to communicate during internet shutdowns imposed by authorities. Bitchat allows users to send messages and bitcoin transactions without an internet connection.
