Sega Backs Physical Media After Sony's Controversial Disc Decision
Sega president Shuji Utsumi has voiced support for physical media in the wake of Sony's controversial decision to end disc manufacturing and sales by 2028. Utsumi acknowledged that digital distribution is "crucial," particularly due to the "steadily increasing" number of PC gamers, but stressed that Sega still values the culture of physical media.
