Warsaw Chopin Airport to Expand — Over 30 Million Passengers Annually After Upgrade
Poland's Regional Director for Environmental Protection in Warsaw has issued an environmental conditions decision for the expansion of Warsaw Chopin Airport, granting it immediate enforceability. The ruling clears the way for Polish Airports (PPL) to begin the major infrastructure overhaul aimed at eliminating bottlenecks in passenger handling. After the modernisation, the airport is expected to serve more than 30 million passengers per year.
