Polymarket Account Linked to Farage Backer Took $9M in Crypto, Origin Unknown

A Polymarket account named "GCottrell93," registered in the name of a backer of Nigel Farage, received $9 million in cryptocurrency from unidentified sources and bet it on Donald Trump winning the US presidential election. The bet paid off and profits were withdrawn, but both the source of the funds and the ultimate recipient remain unclear. The Financial Times reported on the murky transaction.
