Disgaea Creator: If Sony Kills Physical Media, Drop the Hardware Too
Since Sony announced on July 1 its plan to move away from physical media production and sales, backlash from consumers and industry figures has been fierce. The creator of the Disgaea RPG series has been among the most outspoken critics, arguing that if PlayStation abandons physical media it should stop selling hardware altogether. Negative comments have flooded virtually every Sony social media post since the announcement.
