BBC acquires 'Kabul' drama about US withdrawal from Afghanistan starring Eric Dane

The BBC has acquired the drama series Kabul, set against the backdrop of the 2021 US withdrawal from Afghanistan and the Taliban's takeover of the capital. The show is one of the final projects featuring the late actor Eric Dane, and is a Mediawan production made for the European Alliance of broadcasters. No premiere date has been announced.
