SK Group Chairman Ordered to Pay $640 Million Ex-Wife in South Korea's 'Divorce of the Century'

A South Korean court has ordered Chey Tae-won, billionaire chairman of the SK Group conglomerate, to pay $640 million to his ex-wife Roh So-yeong in what national media have dubbed the "divorce of the century." SK Group is one of Asia's largest technology conglomerates, with major operations in semiconductors and energy. The ruling is one of the largest divorce settlements ever recorded in South Korea.
