Romanian F-16 shoots down drone that entered NATO airspace

Romanian President Nicușor Dan announced that around 11:00 local time, an F-16 fighter jet shot down a drone that had violated Romanian airspace. An air raid alert was in effect in Kyiv at the same time. Ukrainian agency Ukrinform notes this is the first such interception, though previous airspace violations had occurred.
