Romanian F-16 downs drone — a first for NATO air defence

A Romanian F-16 fighter jet shot down a drone that violated the country's airspace on Friday, Romanian President Nicușor Dan announced. Ukraine's Ukrinform agency notes it is the first such interception in history, though previous airspace violations had occurred.
