Microsoft pressures LG to kill McAfee pop-up ads on Windows 11

Microsoft stepped in after Windows 11 users with LG monitors reported being flooded with unwanted McAfee trial pop-up ads bundled with LG's Monitor App Installer. Windows chief Pavan Davuluri announced that LG has agreed to immediately disable the McAfee pop-ups. Microsoft pledged to continue monitoring compliance.
