Coach Janusz Kościelak died of a heart attack on train to Rzeszów in 1993

Before the 1993 speedway season got underway, coach Janusz Kościelak suffered a fatal heart attack on a train travelling to Rzeszów for a match. Despite rescue efforts, he could not be saved. He was 58 years old.
