Trump imposes 10–12.5% tariffs on over 80 economies including the EU

US President Donald Trump has imposed tariffs of 10 to 12.5 percent on goods from more than 80 economies, including EU member states, replacing an expiring flat 10 percent global rate. Legal experts are questioning the validity of the legal basis used to justify the move.
