Socceroos star Cristian Volpato allegedly caught with cocaine after 109km/h speeding stop

Australian forward Cristian Volpato, 22, one of the breakout stars of the 2026 World Cup, was allegedly stopped by police at around 1:10am Friday on Sydney's Anzac Bridge driving a BMW Coupe at 109km/h in a 60km/h zone. A roadside drug test allegedly returned a positive result for cocaine. It was reportedly the second time he had been stopped for speeding on the same bridge.
