Drunk man hit by train near Warsaw — air rescue helicopter dispatched

A 54-year-old intoxicated man was struck by a PKP Intercity train between Nowa Iwiczna and Stara Iwiczna stations in Piaseczno County near Warsaw. He was airlifted to hospital by the Polish Air Rescue service. The accident caused major disruptions on the Warsaw Okęcie–Piaseczno rail line.
