Court extends block on Paramount Skydance takeover of Warner Bros. until August 17

A US court has extended by 14 days — until August 17 — the block on Paramount Skydance's takeover of Warner Bros., Reuters reported Thursday. A coalition of 12 state attorneys general, led by California, filed the complaint against the planned merger. Warner Bros. Discovery owns Polish broadcaster TVN, among other assets.
