US Imposes New 10–12.5% Tariffs on EU and 59 Other Trading Partners

The US administration announced new tariffs covering 60 trading partners, including the European Union. Rates of 10% or 12.5% will replace the temporary 10% global tariff expiring on 24 July. The countries affected account for nearly all US imports.
