Hospital directors face 30,000 PLN fines if doctors exceed work-hour limits

Poland's Ministry of Health plans to fine hospital directors up to 30,000 PLN if medical staff exceed new working-hour limits. Health Minister Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda announced the measure in an interview with PAP. The regulation aims to end the widespread practice of doctors and nurses working multiple full-time positions simultaneously.
