Hospital Managers Face Up to 30,000 PLN Fine for Breaking Doctors' Working-Hour Limits

Poland's Ministry of Health is planning fines of up to 30,000 PLN for hospital managers who allow medical staff to exceed new working-hour limits. Health Minister Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda announced the proposal in an interview with PAP. The penalty would fall on the employer, not the individual doctor or nurse. The rules are designed to curb excessive overtime among medical personnel in Polish hospitals.
