New Polish Ombudsman Gregorczyk-Abram: I set aside my views to defend all citizens

Sylwia Gregorczyk-Abram, Poland's newly appointed Ombudsman, declared in an interview with "Wyborcza" that from the day of her oath she will set aside her personal views and act as an advocate for all citizens. She stressed that she has always defended values, not party interests. She acknowledged that fulfilling this role amid deep social polarisation will be a major challenge.
