Irish politicians press Dublin to challenge Germany over Palestinian activist's trial

A cross-party group of Irish politicians has called on Dublin to send observers to the high-security Ulm 5 trial in Stuttgart, where pro-Palestinian activists face charges over an attack on an Israeli arms firm. The delegation, including Sinn Féin's Mairéad Farrell, also wants Taoiseach Micheál Martin to raise concerns about Irish defendant Daniel Tatlow-Devally's detention when the German chancellor visits Dublin next week.
