US Imposes 10–12.5% Tariffs on 60 Countries Including the European Union
The United States announced new tariffs of 10 or 12.5 percent on goods from 60 trading partners, including the European Union. The new duties do not cover steel, aluminium, cars or car parts, and some food and agricultural products are also to be exempted. The move heightens trade tensions with Washington's key partners.
