Glen Powell to Play Baseball Legend Lou Gehrig in New Linklater Biopic

Glen Powell and director Richard Linklater are teaming up again for an untitled biographical drama about baseball legend Lou Gehrig, to be produced for Universal Pictures. Gehrig, a New York Yankees star nicknamed "The Iron Horse," played a record 2,130 consecutive games and won six MLB titles before being diagnosed with ALS in 1939. The duo previously collaborated on "Hit Man" and "everybody wants some!!"
