Qantas Tests Ultra Long-Range Airbus A350-1000ULR on 17,000 km Non-Stop Flight
Qantas's new Airbus A350-1000ULR touched down in Australia for the first time on Friday after a 19-hour non-stop test flight from Airbus's manufacturing facility in Toulouse, France, covering approximately 17,000 km. The aircraft is central to Qantas's Project Sunrise, which aims to operate some of the longest commercial routes in the world. The test flight became the most tracked aircraft on flight monitoring websites during its journey.
