Wildfire Near Madrid Forces Evacuation of 3,500 Residents in Aldea del Fresno

Spanish authorities ordered the evacuation of around 3,500 residents of Aldea del Fresno, a town located about 50 km from Madrid, after a new wildfire broke out on Thursday. Dozens of homes were destroyed in the blaze. The EFE news agency reported that firefighting operations were ongoing at the time of publication.
