"Doctor Strange" Director Slams Musk's AI Odyssey Plan: "Doesn't Know Anything About Cinema"

Elon Musk announced that his AI, Grok, will produce a feature-length adaptation of Homer's Odyssey before the end of the year, claiming it will be historically faithful to the original. He shared a roughly three-minute AI-generated clip on X. Director Scott Derrickson ("Doctor Strange", "The Black Phone") fired back: "Clearly Elon Musk doesn't know shit about cinema and he stopped reading in his 20s. His opinions on art are worthless."
