'Obsession' Star Michael Johnston Wants a Meaningful Queer Role — "Maybe I'll Write It Myself"

Michael Johnston, the openly gay star of 2026 box office hit "Obsession," has said he would like to play a "really meaningful" and "really intentional queer role" in an upcoming project. Now that he has more creative choice, he is actively seeking such a part. If the right role doesn't materialise, he says he may write it himself.
