'Avatar: Seven Havens' animated sequel gets trailer and October premiere date

There has been no shortage of content this year for Avatar: The Last Airbender fans to enjoy, be it the live-action series over on Netflix or the new animated sequel film coming to Paramount+ this weekend. Although Netflix’s live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender series lost over 50% of its viewership during the transition from Season 1 to 2, the third and final season of the series has already been shot, so there’s little to no reason to believe that it would be canceled. Paramount ’s animated sequel film hasn’t been without its controversies either, though — after its theatrical release was pulled, the entire film leaked online earlier this year, forcing the studio to push the release date forward from October to July . There are several other Avatar projects in various stages of development, but the most intriguing one on the slate got an exciting update this afternoon.
