Documentary on Photographer John Shearer to Premiere in Newport on July 30

The short documentary "John Shearer: American Moments," about the life and work of one of the greatest 20th-century American photographers, will have its world premiere on July 30 in Newport, RI, at a special newportFILM screening. Shearer famously photographed the funerals of JFK and Martin Luther King Jr., as well as the Attica prison uprising.
