France wildfires force evacuation of 20,000 near Bordeaux tourist town

Wildfires west of Bordeaux, France, forced the evacuation of more than 20,000 people from a tourist town. Around 800 firefighters, hundreds of gendarmes and soldiers were deployed to battle the blaze. The firefighting operation is ongoing as flames continue to threaten the area.
