Anyone involved with the Avatar franchise over the last 20 years deserves a hearty pat on the back and thank you for their perseverance — at every turn it seems like producing the next great story for Aang , Korra , and the greater Avatar saga was a creative hardship tormented by corporate upheaval. So the idea that we’re just months away from a new Avatar series, Seven Havens , feels like a miracle in the world of M. Night Shymalan live-action movie, Nick unceremoniously dumped Korra episodes on its website, Netflix parted ways with the creators for its adaptation, and the Avatar Aang movie was punted to streaming. A miracle that also looks totally rad! And coming out soon!
