GKS Katowice Lose 1:2 to Žilina on Controversial Penalty in European Return After 23 Years

GKS Katowice made their return to European football after 23 years but lost 1:2 away to MŠK Žilina in the UEFA Conference League second qualifying round first leg. The Katowice side took a 6th-minute lead before a controversial first-half penalty gifted to Žilina sparked a comeback. GKS will host the return leg on 30 July.
