Five-star CB John Meredith III reclassifies to 2026, enrolls at Texas this fall

John Meredith III, ranked the nation's No. 1 cornerback prospect, has reclassified to the 2026 recruiting class and will enrol at the University of Texas this autumn, a year ahead of schedule. The move follows a high school transfer ruling that rendered him ineligible to play at prep level. He will join head coach Steve Sarkisian's Longhorns squad immediately.
