Wieczysta Kraków make Ekstraklasa debut after six-year rise from amateur football

Wieczysta Kraków, a small neighbourhood club that was playing in the regional amateur league just six years ago, made their Ekstraklasa debut on 24 July. The club's colourful history includes players wearing kits sewn from flour sacks and, in the 1980s, hosting Fiat 126p (maluch) races as the stadium's main attraction.
