Ekstraklasa VAR referees move to Warsaw video hub — 10 million złoty investment

Starting with the 2026/27 season, Ekstraklasa VAR referees will no longer travel to match venues but will instead operate from a dedicated video-verification centre in Warsaw, built at a cost of 10 million złoty. The centralised hub begins operation when the new season kicks off on Friday. The setup is said to place Poland among European leaders in refereeing technology.
