Marvel fans have had a surplus of new projects this year, especially on Disney Plus , where the studio is in the middle of its third project of the year. The first Marvel Disney Plus show of 2026 came in the form of Wonder Man , which did so well that it earned a rare Season 2 renewal — it’s still unclear when Wonder Man Season 2 will be released, but writer/director Destin Daniel Cretton recently told Collider that he’s aiming to shoot it this year . Marvel followed Wonder Man with the second season of Daredevil: Born Again , another show that’s already been picked up for another season. The latest Disney Plus show that has fans talking is the sophomore season of X-Men ‘97 , which is winning over critics and audiences despite a two-year gap between seasons.
