AOC's deepfake AI porn bill passes Senate – House Republicans may kill it

A bill sponsored by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez targeting AI-generated deepfake pornography, including child pornography, has passed the US Senate. The New York Democrat warned that House Republicans may let the bill die out of personal grievance against her. "I don't think we should be emboldening child pornographers and helping abusers just because of some personal beef," she told reporters.
