Nolan's 'The Odyssey' earns $18M on Wednesday — second best midweek in his career

Universal's The Odyssey grossed $18.05 million domestically on Wednesday, down 16% from its $21.4 million Tuesday. It is the second-best Wednesday ever for director Christopher Nolan in the US, trailing only The Dark Knight's $18.3 million on July 23, 2008. The film continues to perform strongly at the domestic box office.
